I just wanted to pop in and show you all something that is kind of cool.

I joined a Stuff Your Kindle/eReader event put on by an organization called Indie Author Collective. The event runs from July 8th - July 11th and so far, This is The Fall has gotten 674 ebook downloads!

That means my debut novel is sitting on 674 people’s eReaders!

Will all 674 people actually read my book? Highly unlikely. But, if only 1% of the people that downloaded it actually do read it, thats a handful of new people that took a chance on an unknown indie author and dove into my world. 

That makes my heart so very happy.

Another great thing about Indie Author Collective is that they do not accept any AI generated content in their events, so if you’re an avid reader and have been wanting to try out some other indie authors but don’t want to read AI generated books, then events like this one are a fantastic place to start. 

Indie Author Collective has several people on staff that are very good at picking out AI generated writing and those books are not allowed to participate in their events.
