This past week has been busy and exciting. As I’m moving through the chapter summary for This Is The Fall - Book Two, I’ve also been pecking away at a novella and a book in a third connected series called Aeon Rising.

The tricky part about writing connected series is that the little breadcrumbs in every book have to be consistent and revealed at just the right moment, so I spend a TON of time cross checking all my lore notebooks and my insanely messy Notes app to make sure...

Hey friends!

First off, I have to say that I am completely FLOORED by the number of ebook downloads This Is The Fall got during Indie Author Collective’s Sci-Fi/Dystopian book blast. I never imagined getting any more than 100 or so downloads let alone 816 in just a few days. Holy moly!

Here’s to hoping they lead to some (good ) reviews. It has always been my biggest fear that the book’s blurb or cover would draw in someone other than the target audience and...

I just wanted to pop in and show you all something that is kind of cool.

I joined a Stuff Your Kindle/eReader event put on by an organization called Indie Author Collective. The event runs from July 8th - July 11th and so far, This is The Fall has gotten 674 ebook downloads!

That means my debut novel is sitting on 674 people’s eReaders!

Will all 674 people actually read my book? Highly unlikely. But, if only 1% of the people that downloaded it...

So, I did some thinking and decided that I’m going to go ahead and post the rest of the original journal entries as blog posts. Might as well. This is the super secret insider information club blog after all. Imuna share the good, the bad, and the ugly here…and boy are these journal entries ugly. Bwahahahaha!

Before I dive into the original journal entries, I just want to say that if you haven’t read the novel, this is obviously going to spoil some things for you…and if you have read the novel, some things in the journal entries will feel out of place and order because the journal is “written by Amber” as she experienced things. Some locations were changed as well… So, just keep that in mind. This is literally the first draft. :-)

Since this is my first Insiders Club blog post, I figure that I should introduce myself and what I plan on using this blog space for.

I’m LynnErin: indie author, dog-mom, full-time nomad, and chronic daydreamer.
